Exquisite Hinged Silver Box by Jesse
This finely made silver box is finished and will be presented to my lovely grand daughter Mirabel for her birthday next week. In addition to the embossed decoration on the lid and presence of the hand hammered finish showing through on the inside, it features my grand daughter's initials in script on the lid. The fit and finish of this piece are of the highest quality! This piece shows that Jesse's work in silver compares favorably to some the finest work we see in museums.
Brennan Brothers: A New Joint Project
David, Seth and Jesse have set about creating a mutual effort - a rifle with a significant contribution from each.
This project started with an excellent hand made lock by Seth. Jesse and David are working to inlet the metal parts into the stock. The trigger guard and the exceptional piece of maple they have chosen for the stock are also shown.
Some preliminary photos follow, including Stella, the photogenic canine.
